Pros:
The course fairways are tree lined and make for less of a hazard when shanking drives. It also makes each hole feel private and secluded. The greens are small, which require accuracy but also fairly flat making one-putts common.

Cons:
The water is featured on three holes, but two of them are par three's and easily drivable. Hitting it over 100 yards off the tee you takes the water out of the equation. The bunkers are placed near the greens on all but one hole.
The biggest con was the condition of the fairways. Small clumps of clover and native grasses had infiltrated a third of the fairways.

*Updated April '09* Much progress has been made on the fairway condition and the mole problem seems to be completely taken care of.

Would you play it again, and why?
I would play this again and plan on it come spring of '09. The staff is incredibly friendly and the owner is one of the top senior players in the state of Michigan.
I'm hoping that the grounds will be in better condition, but even if they aren't it is hard to pass it up for the price. I particularily enjoy it for a situational practice course.

19th Hole / Drink Cart?
There was no drink cart when I visited, but they did offer $10 six packs with cooler bags.
As for a 19th hole, the course used to be a country club and has an astonishing banquet center which can seat 300 guests with a fully stocked bar and kitchen. They feature Jazz Nights with live performances. It wasn't open for golfers during my visit but the owner was glad to show it to me upon request.
The golfers had typical "bar" food available to them, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, soda pop, etc.

*Updated April 09* The owner is in the works of opening a game room with pool table, dart board, golden tee, and some single seat booths. It was coming along very nicely on my last visit and should be open by the time you read this.

Final Thoughts / Side Notes on the Course:
The course offers an easy to play nine holes, great for practicing situational shots. They also have a small driving range, but big hitters will clear the poorly positioned netting (backs into an in-play green).

Course Reviewer's Golf History:
Playing for a couple of years, shoot in the 90's.
