Pros:
The course is fun to play. It forces the players to think rather than just tee it up and let it fly. Eight holes feature a dog leg, eight holes also have the stream in play, and the eigth hole has both to contend with. Sand is nearly non-existent, but there is water everywhere, rather it be the stream running through the course, the two ponds, or the Cass River that borders the course.
The greens weren't overly difficult, but didn't offer many straight forward puts. It was a nice balance between challenge and playability.
The greatest hole is the MONSTER 7th. It stands at 596 yards from the blue tees, has two tree-lined dog legs, plays up hill for the second dog leg, and the green is nestled behind the ubiquitous stream. I walked away with a double bogey and was pleased.
The course features a fully stocked bar in the club house.

Cons:
The location fo the course places the first and tenth tee next to the highway. The road noise can be a bit distracting.
The biggest annoyance con I notice is the tee's being butted up against each other on 11 and 16, 12 and 15. During a busy day, players will be teeing off within a few yards of each other.
The course has a driving range on site, which in most cases is a pro rather than a con. However, the range is sandwiched between the nineth and 16th hole with the backstop running along the left edge of the 11th dog leg. Shanking a drive can land your ball among the hundreds of range balls that litter the rough.
The greens had massive spotting and I can only hope that it was a matter of the time of year I played. I'll return during the summer to get an update on the course condition.

Would you play it again, and why?
I will absolutely play this course again. The challenge it posed was a joy rather than a frustration. The pros FAR outweigh the cons. The price was dirt cheap at the time of review, but I'm certain it will jump by at least $10 during the summer, still well worth the cost.

19th Hole / Drink Cart?
There was no drink cart when I visited, but again, it was too early in the season to allow carts on the grass.
As for a 19th hole, the club house features a full bar, with bar stool and table seating and a beautiful view of the 1st tee and 9th green.
They had typical "bar" food available, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, soda pop, etc.

Final Thoughts / Side Notes on the Course:
I had an enjoyable time. Ed, in the proshop, was very friendly and helpful.
